John Samson was born and raised in Lanarkshire Scotland.
His talent was recognized at the early age and was awarded with a scholarship to the world renowned Glasgow School of Art.
With John’s formal art training and an extensive background in Engineering , a style has emerged with a natural precision that is esthetically unique, and visually captivating.

As a global traveler John has seen the world’ s beauty and sorrow.
He paints as he is inspired and since his arrival in the United States,
there has been a witness of both. The sorrow of 911 and the beautiful courage displayed by the Hero’s he has captured in a piece titled ” The Lone Firefighter “. It shows how the tragic events of that day affected more than just our own countrymen, it moved a native born Scotsmen to put his emotions on canvas.

John's appreciation for the emergency services and military is something close to his heart as his sister was injured in the line of duty. The support she has received for over twenty years has made an outstanding difference. Just knowing that someone cares and still appreciated her role has been enough.

There is a common bond between all our 'Guardians' they have courage and bravery that we should never take for granted.
